Welcome to Grateful Steps Foundation, where ideas and voices grow. We are committed to publishing voices that otherwise might not get heard, to preserving Western North Carolina history and culture and also to promoting conversation that traverses faiths and cultures.
Grateful Steps Publishing House publishes books by authors creating across topics, genres and ideologies. With more than forty titles in print, we invite you to visit our online bookstore and also to come in for coffee. As a bookshop, we stock our own titles as well as titles by other fine publishers.
Grateful Steps Gallery exhibits the artwork of local and nationally recognized artists and photographers.
Our commitment to supporting and celebrating the art of local artists now manifests in our latest publishing project, The Art Book of Asheville.
We also offer an array of courses and events ranging from readings to technology, comedy and publishing classes through our Arts and Enterprise Program, The Creative College.
